My dear baby at 16 weeks

Dearest baby,

Yesterday (15 Nov 2011) your daddy n I went to see the doctor for our monthly check up.. U were 16 weeks old in mummy's tummy.. We were kinda hoping that you would spread open your legs abit so we could take a peek at your genitals to see if you are a boy or a girl.. But u were shy.. Or maybe you were sleeping, all your legs were crossed n u were hiding at one corner.. :(

Mummy felt a little disappointed that I cant know whether u r a boy or a girl.. It doesn't matter whether you are a boy or a girl as I will still love u just as much! But I'm just so anxious n excited to know! It's okay, I guess I will know the next trip I go see the doctor.. N that would be 3 weeks from now.. I can't wait! Let's hope this time u are not shy or sleepy okay.. :)

Daddy took a video of you during the ultrasound scan.. Hope u get to see this one day when u r old enough..

And also heres picture of mummy being pregnant at 16 weeks! Time flies! But I hope it will fly faster as mummy really can't wait to meet u in person! Another 5 months! Love you baby!







Ok, mummy was already fat n had big tummy right before I had you.. So imagine my tummy size of the pic minus 30% n that would be you inside.. Hahaha..

Dear baby, you are 14 weeks old today in mummy's tummy... N it's exactly one more month to mummy's n daddy's wedding day!

Mummy n daddy has been looking forward to the day we find out whether u r a male or female.. It doesn't matter whether u r a boy or girl as long as you are a healthy baby! We actually look forward more to the day we finally get to meet u than our wedding day.. As u r our first precious, so u r more important than our wedding.. Our wedding is just a formality so that mummy n daddy can love each other forever after (this is wat we hope so) n u can have a happy family..

Your grandma has been cooking nice n healthy food for mummy to eat so that u can grow in mummy healthily n be a strong baby when u finally come out..

You have been a very good baby to mummy so far.. You did not make me vomit but u have made mummy feel really sleepy n tired all the time..! So mummy has been much lazier than before.. Mummy has no pregnancy pimples but I have been eating alot! That I know i've gone so fat! N oh, mummy already have a visible pregnancy line since 2 weeks ago..

Two weeks ago, I met the doctor n doctor said u r growing fine.. Seems like your due date is early May but doctor will give me a more accurate date when you are going to be due out.. N mummy saw u in ultrasound.. You already have your little fingers n legs.. U r looking very human now.. N I saw u moving! Mummy felt so proud of myself n you as mummy is able to see u move.. It's the first time mummy sees something move inside me.. I felt a miracle n then later on, mummy was thinking about u n how u move the whole day..! Doctor said that hopefully in my next trip, I'm able to see whether u r a girl or a boy.. But if u r a boy, it will be easier to see.. But hopefully u are willing to open your legs n let mummy see ok? Two more weeks till I see u again! Can't wait! I always cant wait to go see doctor cause I know it's when I get to see u.. :)

Will update here again after my trip to the doctor in 2 weeks time!
